About Lotis
My mission is to teach women how to manage their finances like a business. Whether it is their personal finances; facing the numbers honestly, developing a real plan that reflects their life, and executing it with accountability, or the finances entrusted to them during volunteer service; building systems that protect fiscal continuity and steward the trust others placed in them.
Twenty years in school finance taught me the fundamentals that drive this work. I built and managed budgets that were not optional; tracked every expenditure against what was planned; monitored budget availability in real time; reconciled balance sheet accounts against third-party balances; and prepared financial statements that told the full story. Those are not school district skills. They are money management skills and they translate directly to every woman sitting across from me and every chapter fiscal officer I serve.
I am a Certified Public Accountant, hold a Masters Degree in Public Accountancy, and am one of only two Certified Administrators of School Finance and Operations in the state of Mississippi. Those credentials matter. But what matters more is that I show up for every client prepared, direct, and genuinely invested in their outcome. Because people do not care how much you know until they know how much you care.
My approach is rooted in Biblical stewardship. I believe every financial decision is a values decision; and that the same God who entrusted you with what you have has already equipped you to manage it well and to gain more. That belief shapes how I coach, how I advise, and how I show up for every client. This is not just financial work. It is purposeful work. If you are a woman 10 to 15 years from retirement and you feel that you are behind, first know that you are not alone because I feel the same way! That's the reason this program was established! Rooted with Lotis is a 3-month, one-on-one financial coaching program for women that takes you from financial avoidance to financial clarity; grounded in Biblical stewardship and delivered by a CPA who speaks plainly and holds you accountable.
Program completion leads to operating on a written zero-based budget every month, on a clear debt elimination path, savings rate increased, emotionally regulated around money, and moving toward retirement with a plan, not a prayer and a hope

Treasury Advisory Services
Every leadership transition is a risk. When fiscal officers rotate out of their roles, the operational processes built over an entire term rarely transfer completely to the incoming officers; leaving the chapter to rebuild continuity from scratch. And a chapter that rebuilds from scratch every few years never gains the financial momentum it deserves.
I work with chapters to establish consistent, documented financial record-keeping systems by converting manual bookkeeping to QuickBooks or Money Minder and providing hands-on training to fiscal officers so the chapter never starts from zero again.
